In Module 6 we learned about file formats, image optimization and emerging technology. Artificial Intelligence is system of computers that perform tasks that humans perform. The computer systems include algorithms that make predictions and these machines understand the human language. Augmented Reality is technology that enhances the perception and interaction- it is basically Real-World VS Reality. You would find this using snapchat filters. Module 5: Digital Communication

 In module 5 we talked about online communication and collaboration as well as digital etiquette and maintaining professionalism and much more. Key factors that stuck out to me were all of the online communication forms that are growing, evolving and new ones i did not even know about. Digital etiquette is the same thing basically as netiquette and being respecting in the online world with communication and being responsible. Also, there are many social media types. We talked about all the different platforms and what they were used for. Which I thought was most interesting because I learned of quite of few and what they were used for. I think what surprised me the most was that there are so many social media categories. Module 4: Information and Media Literacy

 In Module 4 we discussed Information and Media Literacy and how to understand and apply it. We did multiple activities where we learned how to search on google, how to ready webpages more in depth and also how to identify true and false information. Tips Learned for Searching Google - 1. The Advanced search option is a good resource if you cannot find something, but it is not needed often.  2. By setting your location it will help narrow down the search. 3. Most search engines function the same, it does not matter which one you use, its more preference.  I learned some significant things in this module. One big thing that was discussed was how we get our news. As a person who isn't up to date daily on all news and politics, I think discussing this was important for me because knowing if the sources are credible is important. We all should know if the source is trustworthy. So, something we can do if we are unsure is to make sure the source is also trusted and fact check!...

Module 3: Digital Literacy: Cybersecurity

In Module 3 we discussed Digitial Literacy and being knowledgeable and mindful when it comes to cybersecurity and the internet. It is important to know the basics of Internet Safety, so you are protected from the sharing your personal data and getting virus on your software.  Internet Safety Takeaways: 1.) Introduction to Internet Safety - The internet is a reliable source for many for communicating and accessing internet. Being mindful of the risks and how to avoid them will keep you safe. 2.) Creating Strong Passwords- You will need a password with each account online you have. You will want to make your password strong. No names, pet names, popular names or personal information. Use long words with letters and special characters and no patterns. 3.) Browser Security Features- Always confirm the site you want to use before searching, that way you make sure you are accessing a trusted site. Module 2: Internet Technologies

In Module two we learned about Internet Tecnologies. We learned about types of internet connections and connecting to the internet. Connecting to the internet depends on five things. These things are Protocols , hardware , software , connections and service providers . I also learned how to customize google chrome and make a screen recording while customizing my chrome. This was fun to do, although it took me a minute to understand the concept, but I finally figured it out and I'm glad I did because I understand the process now and think it will be useful in the future. Module 1: Getting Started & Intro

Kicking off the semester with Module 1, there were some significant learning factors for me in this course. I am excited because we started learning some really interesting tools and resources that I have been wanting to learn. To me this course already seems beneficial and exciting!  The most significant thing that I learned was the history of the internet and the growth over many years. How the World Wide Web also known as WWW has developed over history with computer systems continuously growing and evolving.  In Module 1 we discussed HYPERTEXT . A text displayed ultimately making it easier to navigate by the user taking them from source to source. We learned about PROTOCOLS which are a set of rules set for internet communication.
